Active Rehabilitation
At Cornerstone Kinesiology we take an exercise-based, functional movement approach to physical recovery. Active rehabilitation treatments are conducted at the YMCA YWCA Westhills. More about active rehabilitation….
Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
At Cornerstone Kinesiology we use FCE to develop a treatment plan, to measure the effectiveness of a rehabilitation program, to modify a treatment plan, to measure loss of ability, to evaluate whether an injured worker can work in a particular occupation, and to determine when he/she can return to work and in what capacity. FCEs are conducted at the client’s place of work. More about Functional Capacity Evaluations…….
Ergonomic Risk Assessment
At Cornerstone Kinesiology we use ergonomic risk assessment to objectively measure of the risk factors in a work environment that may lead to musculoskeletal disorders or injuries among the workforce. The goal of an ergonomic assessment is to identify these risk factors so that the worker or employer can make measurable improvements in the work environment to improve productivity levels. The primary goal of an ergonomic assessment is to create a safer, healthier, less injury-prone workplace and to improve overall workplace wellness. Ergonomic assessments are conducted at the client’s place of work.
