Non-Medical Legal FCE
One Day – $1500, Two Day – $2000

The most common reasons for requesting a baseline FCE are when a job goal is unknown, and/or when the purpose is to establish disability. A baseline FCE can be used to: determine the client’s current physical abilities and physical limitations; establish if the client can return to work full-time or part-time in any capacity; and to determine if there is need for reasonable accommodation.

A job specific FCE is requested to assess the client’s physical abilities in comparison to the physical demands of a specific occupation or occupations.  It can be used to: determine if the client is able to return to his/her pre-injury job; determine what specific job functions they are capable of performing; establish if the client can return to work full-time or part-time work in any capacity; and to determine if there is need for reasonable accommodation.

Medical-Legal FCE
$150 per hour

This type of FCE is requested to assess the client’s residual physical tolerances, loss of ability, and potential for rehabilitation in preparation for determining loss of earning capacity and future cost of care.  This type of FCE can be implemented over any number of days.

Ergonomic Risk Assessment
$150 per hour

An ergonomic risk assessment is an objective measure of the risk factors in a work environment that may lead to musculoskeletal disorders or injuries among the workforce. The goal of an ergonomic assessment is to identify these risk factors so that the worker or employer can make measurable improvements in the work environment to improve productivity levels. The primary goal of an ergonomic assessment is to create a safer, healthier, less injury-prone workplace and to improve overall workplace wellness.
